IMPERFECTIONS AND VARIATIONS

Gwinkle earrings are hand crafted which may sometimes present with some imperfections. You may sight a tiny air bubble, scratch or perhaps notice one side may look more lopsided than the other. There is a little skew-whiff-ness in my designs!. But on saying that I still strive for perfection and give all the love I have with handcrafting each earring.

 

EARRING CARE

Every pair of Earrings require a little love and care. They will give you the glow and twinkle that you store from within and will allow you to shine on the outside.

Here are some guidelines which will help keep your jewellery in top condition.

 

Water damage

Be aware not to immerse your earrings in water. In particular Salt Water and Chlorine can be very damaging, it can impair, erode and discolour metals.

 

Strenuous Activities

Sweating is not good for sterling silver or other metals. Natural salts excreted from sweat can be damaging to the metals.

 

Direct Sunlight

Heat and sunlight may cause the colour in the resin to fade or discolour. It’s best that Resin earrings are kept away from direct sunlight.

 

Makeup/ Sunscreen and Perfume

Makeup and sunscreen may mark your earring. Follow the instructions below to ‘how to clean’ your earrings. Perfume sprayed directly onto the earrings should also be avoided as the chemicals can be to harsh for the materials.

 

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR EARRINGS

Cleaning your jewellery is a straight forward process. Simply using soap and water to clean follow with rubbing alcohol to assist with the removal of makeup stain. Keep in mind that this is not to be done too frequently as it may cause discolouring or damage to the materials.
